Yeah, it was money well spent

So the game has only been out a couple of hours, but i gotta say...if the rest of it is anything like what i've played so far, well, it's phenominal. Standing on top of the crane, looking out over the city, it's gorgeous. I think the graphics are excellent.
And the sounds are crazy. Going into a room, opening up a locker and hearing a zombie moaning behind me is chilling. Very well done i think. Also, the parkouring is quite fun actually. Once you get used to the unusual button layout(every so often i find myself tapping
A instead of the right bumper to jump). But soon it becomes like second nature. I've gotten so used to running and climbing and jumping, that i'm barely ever on the ground. Suffice to say i'm having a blast.

I have come across a few issues like texture pop ins here and there. Sometimes it seems like the camera can't keep up with me while i'm parkouring, but thats nowhere near game breaking. The first hours of Dying Light are awesome. So, what do you think of
what you've played so far?

Microsoft... I Am Disappoint.

Yeah, I kind of expected it though.

Too much Dev time and money spent towards Kinect.

I am beyond pissed off right now. I have not had any issues and when I tried to sign in just now I got this error. So I pay for a service that does this? Yeah money well spent.

Can you change the controller layout? This is the second time I've heard about how weird it is to hit the button to jump and that is the cause for most of the early dying.

 

Unfortunately you can't change the button layout. But honestly, it really didn't take me long to get used to it. Now, others might find it hard to get used to, seeing as "A" is primarily the jump button in almost EVERY game whether it's an FPS, or an RPG,
and whatnot, but it's not bad. I think it would have made more sense to have the right bumper act as the "scan enviroment" button, and have "A" as the jump button, but the devs saw fit to have it the other way. I have no idea why. Anyway, it's definitely not
a game breaker. Very fun!!

 

The controls take a good while to get used to but once you get a grip it's really comfortable considering the combination of movements you can make.

Be the zombie mode is awesome! but its a pain to find a match with people who keep dropping out once you join in. I spent already 40 hours so far just beat the main story and still have a few side quest to do plus finish the rest of the achievements, Money
well spent, Resident evil revelations will be my next pre-order pick up!
