Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. The reason that games are not able to be purchased in Iran is due to the fact that Xbox Live is no longer supported in that region. Our article entitled Xbox
Live Countries and Regions shows a list of all countries where Xbox Live is supported. We recommend keeping an eye on our region list as it may be updated in the future. This just isn't up to Microsoft it is also up to your own
goevernment.

As part of our regular review of our exporting practices, we are making adjustments to our service offerings in some regions to ensure we are compliant with government mandates. As a result, some services are no longer available in all regions.
