YCC kept making the screen dark or normal

I need to kept turning on and off the ycc 4:2:2 because the screen kept darkening and if i switch on or of it back to normal i already reset the console and chose no on the old setting

If changing to 10 bit, I would also suggest to turn off YCC 4:2:2

This will usually fix the black screen flick.

YCC setting is in, Xbox display setting.

Go to your video mode settings on the console and uncheck the following:

"Allow YCC 4:2:2"
"Auto-HDR"
"Allow HDR10"
"Allow Dolby Vision"

Then, fully shutdown the console by holding the power button for 15 seconds. Power on normally and see if that makes any difference.

I kept unplugging it at the back if it didn't get past the green screen within 5 mins. Eventually it booted up normally with the update in place.

You may want to enable YCC 4:2:2. This will alleviate banding on many displays.

Go to System > Settings > Display & Sound > Video Output > Advanced > Video Modes > and check 'Allow YCC 4:2:2'

Thanks for the suggestion - but I have enabled YCC 4:2:2. it is definitely a software issue coming from the console, not from the TV. I've played and played with settings, both on the console side and tweaked on the QLED TV contrast, brightness, backlighting,
but to no avail. I can minimize visually seeing the bands, but can't eliminate them. Visibly on the home screen, not in games or other screens.
