  1. Yamaha DTX450K + iConnect Midi Controller + Madcatz Midi Pro to Xbox 360 (Headset Issue) Rock ...

As described in the subject line, I have several devices to get from my drum-kit to the Xbox 360 to play Rock Band 3. My problem is that I can't communicate with other players on LIVE because I can't figure a way to get a headset to work. The Madcatz Midi
Pro has no Mic jack on it.

If I plug my headset into an Xbox controller, it wants me to log in another account. And I can't use to LIVE accounts on the 360. So, that doesn't work either.

If anyone has a work-around for this. Or different hardware to make it all come together I would greatly appreciate it. I really hate playing on LIVE with people and can't communicate with them.

    Thanks.

    :)

  2. do people still play this online?

I try to play everyday, but it gets kind of boring playing solo. And it's hard to find people with DLC, and that won't quit when a song is picked they don't want to do. On top of that it seems I always connect with people that just want to do thrash music...
I am very eclectic when it comes to music and don't want to be "stuck" doing just one style of music, which is why I wind up playing solo.

I think I have around 400 songs. I play drums on hard (Pro Mode) on a Yamaha DTX 450K set. I had to use an iCONNECT MIDI device to get these to work with Rock Band 3, and have no headset/voice capability with it. So if we play together, know ahead of time
that I cannot communicate in game with you. Unless someone has a way to get around this. (not willing to buy a second LIVE account btw to do it).

If you send me an Invite, put ROCK BAND 3 in the message, or RB3, so I know. (I don't respond to random Friend Invites)

  3. Connecting Xbox One Rock Band to electric drum set when drum set doesn't have Midi plug in.

I'm trying to connect my sons electric drum set to Xbox One Rock Band so he can practice, but we can't seem to figure out how to make it work. His drum instructor sent home his plug in connector but it was for Xbox 360, and his drum set has the Midi plug
and ours does not. Will the PDP Rock Band 4 Wired Legacy Adapter work?

    Keyboard (piano) won't connect

It's been a while since I setup a keyboard for RB3. But ultimately, you need to have the midi controller that came with rockband 3 in order to use a midi keyboard. Or if it didn't come with your bundle, buy it separately, they are about 20-30 bucks new.

Rock band 3 with real keyboard?

You'll need to midi pro adapter buddy,

, so it's keyboard to adapter to xbox

Controller issue you never heard of

Follow-up discovery after some messing about,

I was able to use the controller as normal when I got home from work yesterday. Had the disconnect issue almost immediately after starting BF2. I unplugged and turned off the controller and I used my midi-controller to exit the game and log out my profile
and restart the game then the normal controller would work. That's really weird that shutting the console off wont have the same effect. If I didn't have that rock band midi controller I'd apparently have to wait a day to play again. Just exiting the game
and logging out isn't enough to complete the process, I have to restart the game to get the controller to work. Weird...
