Yakuza Like a Dragon (PC) saves gone, how do I retrieve them?

I was playing Yakuza Like a Dragon on PC on Game Pass up until yesterday, today I launched the game and all my saves are gone. The only option I get is to start a new game.

I am logged in on the app and I always played connected to the internet.

How do I retrieve my saves?

That did not work, unfortunately.

Not only that, but I cannot even start a new game anymore : it gives me the option to adjust the brightness but whenever I hit proceed, it saves and then returns to the brightness adjustment page.

I just uninstalled it. I'm baffled.

If they didn't help with their game it probably won't be possible to regain the game's progress.

In this path you find where the game is saved, I recommend making a backup of the file to be able to replace it if this happens again.

Save the file elsewhere and delete it from the path I mentioned, open the game and see if by any chance your progress is back in the game.

Thanks for your reply, however I had contacted Sega before posting here and they said they cannot help with Game Pass issues, directing me here.

I hate to give bad news but in most cases it is not possible to recover lost progress and if possible maybe the game developer can do it.
