Yakuza Kiwami game text language changed

i'd like that, sega has a lor of incredible sagas, they could even bring the entire yakuza series on xbox one, or even to game pass as they did with yakuza 0

There are more Yakuza games coming to GamePass in 2020 :-D it was announced at XO19 that we will have Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2 as well

Eu mesmo estou respondendo este tópico pois tive de lhe dar com esse problema recentemente e pude perceber como a equipe da Microsoft é incompetente ou simplesmente parece não ligar para os problemas dos jogadores em relação a um serviço que eles mesmos afirmam ser tão importante, que é o xbox game pass. Mas só é importante na hora de aumentar os preços e gerar lucro para eles, na hora de responder os jogadores, eles falam que não sabem como resolver e fica por isso mesmo.

Em uma outra postagem, datada de 26/06/2020, sobre um problema parecido do usuário MannoSoda, porém se tratando de Yakuza 0, o usuário ALEL_404 deu uma boa pista de como esse problema poderia ser resolvido. Ele passa as seguintes instruções:

Digite no editor de Registro (Windows+R [Para abri-lo], estão digite "regedit").

Navegue até:

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\segaofamericainc.yakuza(Essa parte será diferente a depender do jogo que você instalou)\ResourcesConfig

Altere a configuração 'Manifest Language' até que sobre apenas o "en". Eu apenas deletei todas as outras que não fossem o "en". Pressione OK (ignore o aviso sobre linhas vazias, caso apareça para você). Agora é só iniciar o jogo e o mesmo estará em Inglês.

Caso você, por alguma razão, tenha instalado o pacote de idioma Japonês no seu Windows, depois de fazer todo esse processo desinstale o pacote, pois ao constatar que você tem esse pacote instalado no seu sistema operacional o jogo da prioridade ao idioma original de Yakuza por achar que você entende o Japonês perfeitamente.
Seguindo todo este passo a passo acredito que seu jogo estará sendo executado perfeitamente em Inglês. (Não, o jogo não tem suporte ao idioma Português, nem BR nem PT, e a tradução de Fãs que existe na internet -Que diga-se de passagem, é MARAVILHOSA- não da suporte para o jogo instalado pelo Game Pass).

Pelo menos fazer tudo isso foi o que funcionou para mim. 👍🏼

In another post, dated on 06/26/2020, about a similar problem with user MannoSoda, but about Yakuza 0, user ALEL_404 gave a good clue as how this problem could be solved. It gives the following instructions:

Enter the registry editor (Windows+R, then type "regedit").

Browse to:

Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Local Settings\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\AppContainer\Storage\segaofamericainc.yakuza(this part will be different based on the game you have installed)\ResourcesConfig

Change the setting 'Manifest Language' so that only "en" is left. I just deleted the entries other than "en". Press OK (ignore the warning about empty strings, if you get one). Now the game starts and runs in English.

If, for some reason, you have installed the Japanese language pack on your Windows, after completing this entire process, uninstall the package, 'cause when the game 'see' that you have this package installed on your operating system, the game will give priority to the original Yakuza language because it think you understand Japanese perfectly.

By following this step by step, I believe your game will be running perfectly in English.

When I said "Japanese language", it's "all" my game, voice isn't a problem, but my subtitles too are in Japanese !
