Yakuza 0 on Xbox game pass for PC won't load

I had this exact issue and it turned out that in the background an antivirus program i have installed was blocking it from accessing the internet. Usually the program recognises games and automatically adds them to the exceptions, so its not really been
an issue I have encountered before. It may or may not be the case for you, but I stumbled on this while trying to solve this problem, I thought I would throw it as a potential cause. Hope you manage to solve your problem.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I've even gone to the trouble of uninstalling the Bitdefender and Malwarebytes I had installed, and when that didn't work I added exception paths to both of those and to Windows Defender. Sadly no luck It also occurs on the
majority of Game Pass games too, and I'm starting to think it's a validation/authentication issue with my Microsoft account. Either way thanks for trying!

Yakuza 0 is not cross compatible with save files across Xbox and PC. This is why you have to start the game from the beginning on Game Pass PC.
