Yakuza 0 on Game Pass PC crashes when fishing

I've been playing Yakuza 0 through Xbox Game Pass PC and it's been tons of fun.I just got to Sotenbori with Majima and tried to fish for the first time. 4 times in a row my game crashed back to the Xbox app.
I've looked around Google and I've found a couple of people complaining but only 2 "fixes."One says to run the game in a borderless window; didn't work.The other said to edit the audio.ini in AppData; can't do that, this is GamePass.
I know there's a part later on in the game that requires fishing and I also won't be able to get all the completion points. Guess I'm screwed.
My rig is:Ryzen 3 2200GRX 580 4GB8GB dual channel DDR4 ramWindows on a 240GB SSD and the game on my second 1TB 7200rpm HDD.

I notice that crash in Sotenbori fishing problem already existed in 2018, and after 3 years still no fix.

I was able to find the folder with Audo.ini, edited the file and still crashes so...

Hi,

Yakuza 0 is not cross compatible with save files across Xbox and PC. This is why you have to start the game from the beginning on Game Pass PC.
