y xbox freezes, is slow in the menus ONLY, not in ANY games!! Microsoft PURPOSELY broke MY XBOX

• May we confirm if you are trying to play on Xbox Console or Xbox app?
  
• May we ask what do you mean by menu? Do you mean the Xbox dashboard or game menu?
  
• What games are we having issues with?
  
• What troubleshooting you have performed already?

For the meanwhile, we suggest you try troubleshooting steps that may help you with your freeze. If you are playing on Xbox app, please ensure to disable or turn off antivirus, antimalware, VPN, firewall, proxy and PC Optimizer (or something like game accelerator). Should you play on Xbox Console, try power cycle:

1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
   
2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.
   
   Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.
   
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
   
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

**EDIT: Another issue that is on and off is that the system runs very slow and laggy while in menus and stuff. So basically when I press join a game mode the screen will freeze and the Xbox seems to "struggle" loading. The screen will freeze during different
menus all the time and such.**

My freezes seem to come from my local save games. If you can get back into the menus, even if it is slow, you can clear the local saved games and they should resync from the cloud. It is under the system menu.

I had it set to every 5 min auto save, but I think it started slowing the down performance of game. I would go into my equipment menu and it would save, then I would enter somewhere it would save again. The longer it went the more my xbox would freeze up
trying to process an auto save again. I changed my auto save to the longest setup and I haven't had any more problems of the game lagging or freezing up.
