    I purchased the new play and charge kit for my Xbox Series X, but the new kit doesnt have a light on the cord like the old one. So my question is, how do I know when my controller is fully charged?

    Turn on your xbox and press the home button. In the top right you will see the battery status of your accessories.

    Not via a play and charge kit. The play and charge kit simply charges the gamepad it doesn't turn it into a wired controller.
