    Hi all,

    Just got a Sony A90j to connect with my Xbox series X but I can’t have them to be setup properly for 4K 120 hz.

    I use the hdmi cable provided with the XSX and connected to the specific hdmi port 4k120.

    The xsx recognize 4K in 60hz and as soon as I try to change the refresh rate to 120hz it lowers down the resolution to 1080.

    How to set them up in the right way to get 4K 120 ?

    Fixed:

    Need to setup the hdmi port configuration to enhanced in the input menu.

    Thanks for the feedback. Using port 4. Dolby vision is also not available.

    It also depends if you have a game open at the same time NOT all games support 120hz

    Most will only support 60hz max

    Assuming you have it connected to either HDMI3 or HDMI4 ports. Do you have Dolby Vision enabled? If so, try disabling it on whichever port the SX is connected as apparently you can't run 4k 120Hz and DV at the same time

    Failing that, I have found an ouside forum which has an active thread on the A90J and, just scanning a few pages, there is quite a lot of discussion about the next-gen consoles so might be worth a look/posting (that's where I found the DV stuff)....hopefully I'm not breaking forum rules by posting a link to it:
