    Turtle Beach XP400 Headset

Will the upcoming headset adaptor be compatible with the XP400's? and if not will Turtle Beach be releasing their own adaptor for it sometime soon for xbox one? Thanks!

Did you do the whole setup where you connect the controller to the Xbox One console via USB with the Headset audio adapter connected along with the headset plugged in and update the controllers firmware.

I'm having similar issues. Upgraded the firmware on the controller first. The headset works great for Game Audio wirelessly from the transmitter, but as soon as I plug it into the Microsoft Chat Adapter, game audio begins dropping out and chat doesn't function.
When I unplug the headset from the Chat Adapter game audio works great.

The chat adapter seems to be the issue.

    Any ideas?

well they told me today that the talkback cable i use to play with my 360 controller is way different then the ones needed for xbox one they basically don't fit so i need to buy a Playstaion 4 chat cable to get chat apparently? I don't know why they didn't
include a wire for this knowing the headset is for 360? Smh whatever I ordered mine today heres the link

    gaming headsets

Actually the X12's one of Turtle Beach's least impressive headsets (doesn't mean they are bad). Their top of the line headsets are the XP400 and XP500 but they are much more expensive. The XP400 is $220 and the XP500 is $260 I believe. Of course, you get
what you pay for. They are both 100% wireless (you don't even need a chat cable), the XP400 has dual band wifi which eliminates all interference giving you perfect sound. The XP400 is also rechargeable. Even though the XP500 is more expensive, I would recommend
the XP400 over it simply because it has more necessary features. But if you can't afford that, they came out with the new X42's and X32's which are a lot lower in price. But I would advise you to stay away from stereo headsets like the X32 since they are not
nearly as useful as a surround sound headset would be. Hope you find the right headset. :)
