XP farming in AC odyssey, Thoughts?

Ubisoft is cracking down on players that are creating XP farming quests saying that it "exploits risk jeopardising the overall quality, integrity, and purpose of Story Creator Mode" some players are saying that it shouldn't
matter in a single player game how each player wants to play. The players also point out that you can buy a permanent xp boost from Ubisoft.

So I want to know what do you think?

I feel if people are making quests with everything provided by Ubisoft then if anything it needs to be left in. These type of "exploits" are not uncommon (I can remember XP farms made in many other games where people have the ability to generate events).
If people choose to use them, that is their choice. But it is really on Ubi for leaving something in there allowing people to do and then afterwards coming down on people for creating something which they were able to create within fair confines of the game.

Now if all Ubi is doing is shutting down the quests, and the users are still able to keep characters, etc. then I'm having less of an issue. but Ubi should still fix the loopholl to even create the quests that way if they are trying to prevent it as well.

I think the uproar is more so to do with the fact that Ubisoft sell XP boosters through in-game currency that can be bought. If it was just an exploit in a game without this I doubt we would see this. I'm very much against unethical practices like those
kind of micro-transactions that create a "Pay-to-win" system.

However, I also don't agree with players using exploits to win. So, I wouldn't have minded as much if it weren't for the XP boosters but it's Ubisoft game and if there is an exploit they are well within their rights to shut it down.

Meh, if there's a system, there's people who will no doubt abuse it

If ubisoft says its against the rules, then it's against the rules. Some developers don't mind things like that. Apparently ubi isn't one of them.
