    We're thinking of buy an Xbox One partly as my son can't currently play his Xbox 360 online with friends who have an Xbox One. Two questions:

    1. Will our current Kinect box work with the new Xbox One S or the Xbox 1?

    2. Are the Xbox One and Xbox One S compatible together online?

    As long as the consoles are connected to the internet and have an Xbox Live Gold subscription they should be able to play games online together.
