    Does anyone else think it is absolutely insane to charge $120 a year for GOLD? So... Free games like warzone or even watching netflix/youtube now costs Double just to do those things on the Xbox. Thank God that Microsoft has not been able to get the
    new xbox to retail stores had I have been able to get my hands on one around the holidays this news today would have ruined everything for me. I will be switching to PlayStation My hope is other will do the same. Its not about the money its about Principle.
    If they are going to increase the cost by that amount then they should be providing more with the subscription, maybe game pass for free.

    Xbox Live Gold can be purchased for far less than $120. Here it is at it's regular price on Amazon.

    Sites like G2A are gonna have a field day with this if people start selling XBL Gold cards for drastically cheaper (Only downside is you can run the chance of getting scammed).

    You don't need Gold to use apps like Netflix or Youtube. Gold is only required to play online, get free games through Games with Gold, and access to Gold discounts. You can also just get Gold or Game Pass for free through Microsoft Rewards.
