XO not playing Blue-Ray disc on first try.

The scenario go like this, I remove a game disc that I have stopped playing earlier in the day to watch Amazon instant, I insert a DVD or blur ray movie and move back to the couch. Upon arrival I look back to see "Insert disk" on the current disk tile. Touching
the eject button cause the disc to begin ejecting, then it quickly reverse direction and the disc is recognize, flowed by the blue-ray app screen, then all is normal. This has happen about 5 times with different movies. Always the same scenario.

Xbox One S fails playing Ultra HD Blu-ray

Hey guys -

We are aware of isolated reports of a small number of Ultra-HD Blu-Ray titles that may not play on Xbox One S consoles. Rest assured, our engineering teams are aware and are investigating. Your console does not need to be replaced or repaired.

We certainly want to get to the bottom of this and we have a few troubleshooting steps to try to help narrow this down fully.

First what we'll want to try, is clearing the Blu-ray Persistent storage on the console by doing the following steps.

1. Navigate to
2. From Settings select Disc & Blu-ray
3. Highlight and select Blu-ray
4. Select Persistent storage and then Clear persistent storage.

Then try playing the Blu-ray and see if it works.

If not, we're going to want to next try playing the movie with BD Live turned off and here's how to turn that off.

1. Navigate to Settings
2. From Settings select Disc & Blu-ray
3. Highlight and select Blu-ray
4. From the Blu-Ray screen you will want to uncheck Enable BD Live to improve Blu-ray playback.
   

Another option is exchanging your current Blu-Ray for a new one to see if the disc is the cause of the issue.
