    XLR Microphone on Xbox

So I am using an XLR microphone, connected to a Focusrite, connected to my PC. I am able to talk in parties and hear the game chat by using the streaming feature using the Xbox companion app. The question is, Is there any way to be able to use this setup
and talk in game chat? I was able to figure out everything but that :/

    :)

    Microphone for Xbox one

You would need a CTIA adapter that splits the controller plug into a headset component and the Microphone component. Something

    like this
    for example.

Then plug any stand up mic of your choice into the 3.5mm microphone plug.

If you want a professional microphone with XLR plug, you would need an
    XLR to 3.5mm adapter
    .

A good audio microphone with 3.5mm jack would be the
    Rode Video Mic Pro
    .

Just be aware that USB microphones do NOT work on the Xbox One.

Make sure your headset is set to Default Device and default communications device. You can right click each one and click "test" to see if your headset makes noise, when your headset makes noise that's the one you want as the default, after setting default
click the apply button. Then you can switch to the recording tab and start talking, the one that has green bars responding to your voice is the one you want to use as default device and communications, once again hitting the apply button when finished.

Even if you don't have any other mic inputs there could be devices showing up so it might be good to disable the ones you aren't using as some games might be confused as to which device to use otherwise, hope this helped

Setting Up A Studio Mic For Couch Streaming On Xbox

There is no support for XLR mics on the Xbox One. If you want to use an XLR mic you are going to need a PC.

Adaptive Controller and Standard Arcade button TRS wiring.

None of us have that information to give you, they’re standard 3.5 mm jacks like on headphones

You should consult with people who make equipment for the disabled, as the adaptive controller has been constructed to industry standards

You’ll find a great deal of the technology for the disabled is created from music equipment. Wheelchairs run on MIDI, And charge with microphone XLR cables

my microphone only works in the xbox pc party chat but will not work on pc games or things such as discord

Hello, first it's a pleasure to be able to help you today.

My name is welcome to the community.

Hello Jacob, the Neewer NW-800 microphone, better known as the BM-800 is a Condenser Microphone is one of the best budget microphone out in the market. It looks and feels premium even on a low price tag, It also records audio pretty well too!

It was one of my first microphones, and I still have it.

It comes with a USB cable and an XLR , if you are using the USB cable, try to see in the Windows settings if it discord other Apps are configured to be recognized by it.

If it doesn't work, as it doesn't have the ability to install drivers, sometimes the only way to get it recognized the only way to get it recognized by discord etc would be to use an audio interface.
