Xim4, Mixamp and Headphones Question.

Hi there guys,

I am just looking for some help today.

So I will be using a Xim4 and Mixamp with the Xbox One.

I will be using one USB port for the Xim4 and the controller for authetication. And another usb and optical port for mixamp.

I will be connecting my AD700x into my mixamp for surround audio.

Is there any way that I can get VOIP on the system with this setup or will I need to use Skype on another platform?

Can I use Beats By Dre with my xbox live?

i think u can get a astro mixamp and plug them to that because you can plug any headphones up to the mixamp

I say ditch the A40s, still get the Mixamp and then get Sennheiser PC gaming headphones.

Using a Xim4 is widely considered cheating and can bring on a ban from Xbox Live if caught using one. They come under mods and hacks and are against the Xbox Live Terms of Use.

As a result I doubt you'll find much help from these forums and would probably do better to ask elsewhere.

I don't want to get into the cheating argument here, I am not using Macros or anything like Rapid Fire etc.

I will use a Xim4 purely for ergonomic reasons, I have issues using the Xbox One controller and after around 45 mins of gaming my hands start to cramp. This is hampering my enjoyment of the system and see no reason as to why I wouldn't be able to change
my input to further my Xbone use.

Hopefully someone will answer the question, if not I will just have to use Skype on my dekptop or mobile for VOIP.

Yea, those Sennheiser X320's are a great price if you absoutely need a plug & play gaming headset. There is also a version of it that works with the PS3 as well as the 360 called the U320's but its quite a bit more. If you are going to do that, you are better
off finding a deal on the Astro Mixamp and buying a pair of audio headphones. This is all about preference since dofferent headphones sound different. A good starter pair would be the Sennheiser HD201's which are only $25 on Amazon or the Creative Aurvana
Live headphones for $75. Mixamp with the Senns, you are looking at $155. Mixamp with the Creative headphones will run you $210. Add a Zalman ZM Mic1 microphone and you are spending an extra $8.00.
