Discus and support XIM detection using kinect in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I'm not saying ban XIM4 ( keyboard and mouse) users. If that's what they want to do, let them.     XIM detection using kinect


    I'm not saying ban XIM4 ( keyboard and mouse) users. If that's what they want to do, let them. I just don't want them in my games as I feel ( and know ) it's an unfair advantage. With the use of Kinect, this could be easily implemented. It could periodically
    scan the player and how they're sitting and what you are likely to be using. Servers could have Kinect scan on and off, so Xim users have those to play with each other as well as the non-kinect owners.

    I'm sure MS Kinect sales will go up from the players want a level playing field, and it also gives the xim users the same, and

    isn't that what we all want?? lol

    XIM ( keyboard and mouse ) setup on console is not a fair advantage in so many ways, it really needs to be addressed. It takes so much more skill to play well with a pad in comparison.

    Elite controller is Smashing fun...

    Using xim or Cronus sure, although if your thinking of getting one to go kb/m go with xim, Cronus lack of smart translators and generally notchy performance lets it down.

    I know I’m console banned, at least for now because it says “this console has been banned from the xbox network”.

    I said “I thought xbox had some software that could detect xims” because I don’t have a xim. I don’t use xim. I’ve never had a xim plugged into my xbox, I have a wire mic and wired speakers. That’s it. I’ve never had a xim, I just took a picture off google and made it my profile picture to get people angry.

    That’s the problem though, I don’t actually have or use xim or anything like that. I just used a picture of one from google as my gamerpic. I’m not a xim user.

    I hope the xim part of your GT doesn't mean you use a XIM KB/M kit, if it does you can't complain about anything.

    is Xbox doing anything about the XIM cheating issue? Because it sure doesn't seem to be the case.

    explains why it was stated the series x could detect them. Still incorrect though, input are still registered on the console, the xim formats the input from mouse and keyboard to simulate a controller. but to continue your argument, it still holds no ground. If the developers of games can detect it and push it forward IP-ban should happen. As it currently stands that does not seem to happen.
