Xfinity modern dns

Discus and support Xfinity modern dns in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When trying to connect to anything xbox today we're getting dns errors. Is this an Xfinity issue?     Xfinity modern dns


    When trying to connect to anything xbox today we're getting dns errors. Is this an Xfinity issue? Others having problems? Never hadthis happenbefore.

    Is the HBO GO app down?

    Yeah, problem is continuing. Can't get to any menus within the app, and cycling through the activation links via Xfinity doesn't do anything. I have Comcast Xfinity. Also unsuccessfully tried the DNS change. Please help, this is unresolved.

    "Can't get IP address" error code.

    trying to connect to xfinity internet for the first time on this network and I get "can't get IP address" or "DNS isn't resolving Xbox server names" every time. Help?

    It could well be a problem with your ISPs DNS servers.

    Try to work your way around this problem by configure your Xbox DNS settings so that your console resolves names into an IP address by using a public or open resolver.

    Configure Googles public DNS servers as the primary and secondary DNS under your consoles network settings.

    Keep getting disconnected from online servers

    Try manually setting DNS to 8.8.8.8 that fixed Modern Warfare for me, so may work for your issues

    Primary and Secondary DNS issues 0.0.0.0

    Just my luck....I get the new wireless router from Xfinity Comcast as an upgrade and now my DNS doesn't work (with the XBOX one). Bunta San... My PC uses the same DNS as the google public. 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 so even if I do an cmd prompt with ipconfig...it
    will show the DNS as such. Also right now, my XBOX one is in the DMZ so all port are open and it still doesn't work. I really appreciate everyone's assistance with this. Thanks! - Dave in Memphis
