    I have an updated, newer model of the Xbox One S controllers

    I have a Google Pixel 2XL

    Bluetooth and controller pair just fine but when the game loads only the A/B/X/Y and home buttons work, so I can't play any games.

    I have tried multiple controllers, resetting the controller, disassociating any Xbox auto-login profiles associated with the controller, have tried resetting the phone, forgetting the device, and re-pairing it, but to no avail.

    Advice?

    I have the same issue with my Pixel 3. Happens with both a bluetooth, fully updated Xbox controller as well as a Razer Kishi with updated firmware. Clearly not an issue with controller but with the phone or with Game Pass.

    You'd think if it worked on *any* Android phone, stock/Pixel would work perfectly.

    Yeah, frustrating, eh? I've looked online and tried everything that I've seen suggested. Unfortunately, I don't have a PS4 controller to try, so I guess I'm not going to be able to use xCloud until I upgrade my phone someday down the line.

    I have the same phone and the same issue now. When i downloaded and plugged in for the first time about a month ago everything worked flawlessly i was on gears 5 and forza horizon no problem. My controllers are up to date and analog/triggers work
    just fine on every other app however only xaby work in game. Can't quite figure out the fix for this at this point and it's driving me insane.
    The entire controller works outside of the app. I've tried multiple controllers with fresh batteries too. Something funky is going on with the cloud app on my Pixel 2 XL. Every button except thumbsticks and d-pad work. Very frustrating.
