    Okay so I've got a OnePlus 6 and I'm the xCloud preview and in the app it says "You need to connect a supported controller via USB or Bluetooth to play" and my controller isn't Bluetooth enabled so I bought a Micro USB to USB-C Cable and I've connected it to my phone but nothing happens.

    Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 - No Firmware Update on PC

    I cannot believe it, but just this morning the Accessories App received an update. I could connect my controller via USB and update its firmware!

    First look: Everything (except xCloud) seems to work now.

    So install your new firmware! Bit of luck :)

    i did hear they were to be trialling xcloud via pc soon, not sure when but obviously as the surface is a pc technically that should work on there.

    Having the same issue. Seems to be a problem with gamepass in general. I install the campaign via GP but it then says I have to buy it. Works on xcloud.

    Surface Pro X is ARM64 architecture, so a “standard” PC app for xCloud would have to be either 32-bit and run in emulation, or ported to ARM to work.
