XCloud Gaming Lag Issues

The other thread was closed but there is no resolution besides a link to the standard troubleshooting page.
This issue with the game streaming lag on Android is still ongoing. I have a 500Mbps down, 10Mbps up, WiFi is 5ghz with a connection speed of around 400Mpbs. If I am connected to the 5Ghz the XCloud game streaming is unplayable, basically a video refresh rate of 1 frame per minute, I can hear the audio and the menus are responding when I move the controller so this is a video refresh issue. As other people with the same issue have said, using my cellphone data to stream Xcloud its a lot better, connecting to my 2GHz WiFi video refresh rate is drastically improved but not enough to be able to play.
Please take a deeper look in to this issue.

Using the web browser works fine but when using the android app or the Windows app the wi-fi reduces the data flow to around 1 meg when I have a usual speed of 76 meg. All other apps work fine with the wi-fi data but NOT the cloud gaming apps.

I have the same issue. Xbox support are just a bunch of undertrained monkeys using copy paste responses. 5Ghz my a**! The app is clearly underdeveloped and configurations are messed up. No one seems to bother to investigate the issue, as long as everything works fine in their corporate office.

I have to use phone's tethered connection so then the service runs ok. Using a broadband connection results in a super blurry, unresponsive mess, worse than a high resolution potato.

To microsoft "independent advisors" - please stop posting nonsense like "port forwarding" and "packet loss" and links to troubleshooting pages - these are of no help. It's messed up that a service charges money and then doesn't even bother collecting feedback from the ocmmunity.

Yes there is no issue with xcloud but there is some issue the app, both pc and mobile, with how the mobile app and how the service handles the data packets. I sit next to the router with my mobile device and it still doesn't work. Are there any specific ports that should be forwarded on the router? Xcloud streaming on the mobile and in the gamepass pc app have similar issues even though my pc is hardwired, the only way I have been able to play it is through a web browser on my pc.

The 5ghz frequency is faster but the signal range is less than the 2.4hz frequency and may suffer more interference, packet loss, and so on. As you said it has improved a lot using a mobile data connection doesn't seem to be a problem with xCloud but with your connection and only having internet speed is not the only parameter to have a good connection.

Yes definitely an app issue since there are no issues if I stream through the web browser on my PC.
