Xcloud gaming joysticks and dpad issues

Discus and support Xcloud gaming joysticks and dpad issues in XboX Insiders to solve the problem; Not sure what I'm doing wrong.     Xcloud gaming joysticks and dpad issues


    Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Once the game loads, all buttons and triggers work, but the joysticks and directional pad don't register any input. Can't navigate game menus to start a game. Tried Halo 5, MCC, and Nier Automata. Using Google Pixel 3a XL. Updated controller and tested to make sure both phone and pc register input. Any help is appreciated.

    Xbox keeps scrolling down

    I tried this also, but in that menu it still tries to scroll down even if it only takes input from the dpad...

    I've noticed something weird today if I hold up from the dpad I can use the joystick to move around with no problem, as soon as I release the dpad it starts scrolling down again.

    I got one about two months back and i absolutely love it from the textured grips to the customization of the joystick sensitivety and being able to change the joystick and dpad out only thing i dont really use is the back bumpers hardly they get in the
    way with rpg but are really good for fps games

    Would xbox be willing to make a controller with semetrical joysticks

    My thumb lays naturally towards the xbox Dpad not the joystick, plus the xbox controller is almost to small for my hands so I have to roll my thumb forward to even get to the joystick on the left side. The playstation controller is thicker and and wider which fits my hand size better. So my thumbs rest more naturally with its joysticks.

    Streaming with Xcloud is currently a Beta feature with many many bugs. I did a bit of research before responding and saw this has been happening since Oct. 2019. Only thing I can actually help you with, is to guide you to the Xbox
    Insiders sub reddit    . Report the bug there, they will not respond to you, but they will take note of it. I in all honesty don't recommend doing this because of the many reports this topic already has. But that is for you to decide!

    Street of rage 4 gamepad detection issues

    This isn't really a satisfactory answer I know....but in the mean time I've been told that if you wiggle to left joystick when this happens the dpad starts functioning again. Beyond that I would try alerting the devs through their feedback channel.
