    XCloud Beta Invite Sent to the Wrong Email Address


    I receieved an invite to the XCloud closed beta last week but it was sent to my old email address, not my current one. A couple of years ago I changed domains and subsequently changed all of my accounts (including my MS/Xbox account) to use the new email address. However, I left my original email address as a secondary one on my account that could be used for account recovery purposes. I did remove this email address from my account a few days ago to see if that fixed the issue but it didn't.

    I contacted Xbox support on Twitter and the only solution they could give me was to log in with my old email address, which obviously I can't do. They then referred me to this support forum. I only have read-only access to my old email account and have been told that at some point in the future it will be deactivated entirely so I don't want to go trying to switch email addresses back just to try out XCloud. I'm confused as to how it ended up at that email address in the first place.

    Is there anything that can be done about this? I would like to try it out, if possible.

    If you don't get a beta invite directly from Zenimax in your email before the next beta then you should be able to get one from the curse website. Zenimax just sent my key in an email with the beta invite.

    dont think its a refund option available for this sorry.

    Thank you for your post. If you've sent a gift to the wrong e-mail address, please submit a

    Refund Request     to get in contact with a refund agent to have the gift refunded so you can send it to the correct e-mail.
