Xbx Charge and play kit LED light not working

Just bought a new Xbox One controller and and a charge and play kit so i dont have to buy batteries all the time. The battery pack works, but when i plug the charging cable up the LED light doesnt work. I dont think the controller gets charged either which
is what i care about. I just bought both very recently and wanted to know what to do, thoughts?

Hi, That definitely sounds like a faulty charging cord. You may want to exchange it for one that works properly.

The kit works great, sounds like you just got a defective one, just exchange it for a new one.

That's not good at all. I'm willing to think this may be the kit itself. If you purchased it only recently and still have the receipt I would recommend returning it to the store for an exchange

I've never used the kit myself so can't comment on it. I do know that using the kit does create a hum if you're in a party.

I use the charging stands and love them. I keep two controllers charged at all times.
