    So I recently got the Series X and at times I’ve noticed that the audio is out of sync and is a second behind on the output. I’ve tinkered with the settings and it seems like a short term fix but it still go back to being delayed. I have a Vizio tv that is suited for 4K and is up to date so I’m unsure if i need to change my settings on the tv or on the Series X. Any help will be greatly appreciated

    Xbox One S HDR issue

    Hey Aiki Man!

    Originally, specific Vizio 4K TV's only supported Dolby Vision and not HDR10. Just recently Vizio began rolling out firmware updates that includes HDR10 support for their 4K SmartCast M & P series TV's. For more information, please refer to

    Vizio's HDR10 Firmware Information     page. As noted on that page, this currently applies to M50-D1, M60-D1. P50-C1, P55-C1, P65-C1, and P75-C1. If you do not own one of those models, your TV may not support HDR10 quite yet and you may need to reach out to
    Vizio support in regards to that.

    Be sure to enable HDMI Color Subsampling on your TV if it is one of the model's mentioned above! Let us know how it goes!

    Dolby digital on XBOX Series X

    Hello,

    I am having a very similar issue with an LG 4K TV and a Vizio soundbar that supports 5.1 Dolby digital and DTS. I connect my Xbox series x to the TV and use the ARC HDMI cable to connect to my soundbar. When I try to switch the audio output on my Xbox the only option is stereo uncompressed. I'm very confused. The audio config check on Xbox on my TV says it only supports stereo when I know for a fact my tv supports pass through surround.

    I'd recommend a Samsung 4K TV. The best thing to do though is to go down to you local Wal-Mart or retailer and pick out the best looking 4K TV. Top TV brands in my opinion.
