    tried to move 20 GB of video to my xboxone X and says insuficient storage but I have 700GB free, what can I do?

    Thanks for the quick reply!

    I actually had to update the store & that solved the issue! I'll keep the hard reset info in mind if I have any other future snafus.

    It is surprising what a hard reset will fix (hold the power button for 10 full seconds while the system is on, then restart). This quick fix does solve a lot of common issues. :)

    Having a similar issue except we just hooked up the system & downloaded minecraft. When we tried to download the creator packs & skins, etc, that came with the game, it says there isn't enough space.

    That happen to me the other day what i did was when i was finish deleting the videos and screenshot I hold for 10 seconds the Xbox One from the console to completely shut down and then wait 30 seconds to turn it on again

    Hello Jose,

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. Since you have 700 GB remaining i'm assuming you have a 1TB Xbox one X? The internal storage you have remaining is reserved for updates and games/apps installations. You will not be able to store video into
    the xbox without the use of an external hard drive. Media (Video, Music, pictures) needs to be on an external storage device to be played on the Xbox one.
