XboxOne won't recognise I have Gold

I turned my Xbox One on this afternoon and the tile that usually allows me to view which games/deals are accessible with Games with Gold has now been replaced by a tile that is advertising Gold for $1 for one month.

I checked that my subscription was enabled and have an email explaining that my Gold was renewed at the end of last year, but it seems that it doesn't recognise that I have Gold?

Have you tried connecting the external hard drive to another device to see if it is recognizable? Also try restarting the system.

 

You're still showing as Gold on the forums. If you try playing anything multiplayer, or accessing a downloaded Games with Gold title, will it let you do this?

The advert for $1 Gold could be there for everybody so if it's still letting you access Gold features, despite the loss of the Gold Hub on the dashboard, then it looks like everything is okay.

 

I got that too and boo to Xbox for putting up that ad when it is also false advertising.. You don't pay $1... You pay for the full month normal rate.. Didn't need to see that after a stressful day at work & then thinking my gold was cancelled early
