    I signedup for xbox live with my console because I was shown this promotion

    [Xbox Live Gold offer : INDIA] From 16th October 2014 to 31st January 2015, renew/purchase a Xbox Live 12M Gold subscription and receive two Xbox One games – Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Zoo Tycoon for free. : xboxone

    So I signed-up on Jan 2 and I did not recieve the free game codes until end of january so I did contact their support reps before this promotion ended, They asked me to wait and assured the codes will be emailed.

    I contacted them again on June to ask whats up. the operator Jett assured me it is their fault and gave me a new game but it was for xbox 360 and not xbox one. I said I just needed the same two games I was promised to receive.

    He created an escalation ticket and said some ene from their advocacy team will contact me. No one did.

    Today on Oct 5 , i ask them what has happened. I was told the ticket is de-escalated.

    Their operator Louie anthony is chatting with me for over a hour. i had to prove him that the promotion was real then he understands all this. , and promises me he will resolve.

    After a hour he says I escalated too late. The promo ended on Feb and I escalated late.

    Now I asked him why would i even raise a case early when I was promised the codes will be sent on January , he says nothing he can do.

    If I was told they wont do anything by June or even January I didnt have to keep contacting them.

    Is this how the Xbox one support always handles the thing?

    They just disconnected from the livechat ..

    Xbox support is stating they are no longer honoring that promotion. I suggest u raise hell with them as I did

  3. Spent $45 and never received my credit.

    Anyone? How can Microsoft have a promotion and completely ignore honoring it?

    Sorry to hear about the issue and I can definitely understand how frustrating this could be. Unfortunately as this promotion has since expired, we are unable to provide or replace codes here in the Support Forums. Once again, I am truly sorry to hear about
    the issue and any inconveniences this may have caused.

    so the strategy is to not email the game codes from promotion and when asked early, ask us to wait/assure it will be sent.. then when asked later, say it will be dealt by advocacy team then close the ticket without telling me and when Im asking this another
    few months later , the support tells me its all late again?

    I am thinking to sell this junk and wouldnt recommend xbox to anyone again.
