XBOXONE SHUTTING OFF

Hey guys I have recently been having problems with my xbox one. I bought it the night it came out which I regret. i only used it like 5 hours a month for about 3 months. didn't use it for the other 3 recently I've been playing a lot more been having the
problem of my xbox shutting off I cannot find any information on this. been on the Internet for hours. I replaced the power supply thinking that was the cause of it. which wasn't replaced the thermal paste. and the heat sink looked in decent shape the fan
spins. so not really sure what else I have to look at. that's why I'm having to resort to the forums. any help would be great! Thank you for your time on reading this. Hopefully I'll find the issue soon

Xboxone keeps shutting itself off console has enough ventilation and previously worked fine. I've sent off the power pack and the console separately once already and was told there is no problem, I've just been asked to send the console off again! Can
anyone advise???

I have the same problem, xbox support doesn't know what it is, they just want me to send it in (not under warranty) and pay. Sometimes it makes it 5 minutes, sometimes it makes it several hours before randomly turning off. Have to unplug the PSU and plug
it back in to get it to reset. Anyone have any advice past sending it in?

 

No much you can do. You voided your warranty when you opened it. Support won't touch it.

 

Why did you open it? Was it out of warranty and you didn't want to deal with xbox Support?

Self repair can't be discussed here on this forums so nobody can help you here.

You might need to look elsewhere for help and support to fix it.

Hope you can find something that can fix it otherwise you might need to cut your losses and get a new one.

 

warranty was over. shipping is expensive. I actually just figured out the issue. added one of those inter cooler fans. been on for about a day now. really strange guess it's just to hot we're I live. thanks for the feed back
