    XboxOne Only Shows Grey Screen (But Has Sound)


    This afternoon I tried booting up my Xbox One (original, not 'S') and it displays only a grey screen, but I can hear to boot up and log-in sounds.

    I have unplugged the power brick and plugged it back in with no luck. I have rebooted into low res mode with no luck (I know it entered low res mode because the AVR is reporting the lower resolution to my tv). I have tried changing HDMI ports in my AVR
    with no luck.

    Any advice?

    blu ray videos

    The blu ray player only has sound and no video for blu ray videos. I've tried resetting the console but it only shows a black screen. The video is obviously playing as I can hear the sound from it. Any suggestions?

    Xbox Logo Pauseing on boot up!?

    It has nothing to do with your Internet connection on Splash Screen Endgamez...

    Only the consoles Ethernet Controller/Adapter & Modem/Router sync..

    (It shows the T Base 100 Amber/Red Sync Light on Router & flickers when it first communicates or syncs the two devices offline (LAN), then stays solid, until your console tries to access Xbox Live in the Grey Loading Screen etc)

    .

    You are not on Xbox Live, until your Xbox Live profile is loaded in the Grey Screen after the Splash Screen (Loading Symbol etc) & it goes into the dashboard, saying you're on Xbox Live & friends are online with a sound etc..

    Change your Ethernet cable & see if it still happens... I use CAT6 Ethernet cables..

    Help needed. Split screen multiplayer problem, asks current player to join!

    Just got the game tonight for the kids. Ours is doing the same thing. We only own two remotes and it has a constant flashing grey box across the split screen showing the 3rd controller flashing and asking to press menu to join. Anybody found a solution to
    this? Very annoying!!

    Unfortunately the only ones that could answer that are the Enforcement team. Nobody here or in support has access to their system.

    It may show once the suspension is over. It will be in the greyed out reason for suspension with a drop arrow at the right of the grey box

    Gamerpicture Change?

    My gamerpicture is doing exactly the same recently - top right gamerpicture shows, showever the gamercard picture shows the grey outline.

    However at the moment on my screen it shows your gamerpicture.

    Xbox one dashboard tiles and gray backgrounds weird interference.

    i have just noticed the same thing on my Samsung LED tv, seems to only be on grey screens i get some slight vertical lines also but i did notice they can be removed by adjusting the brightness levels of your TV. best way to view these lines are to go to
    internet explorer and open a blank window thats the perfect grey that shows them on mine.
