Xboxone not recognizing channel change to Root Sports

    Xboxone not recognizing channel change to Root Sports


    I have comcast in the state of washington and whenever I want to watch the Root Sports channel it cannot be done through voice commands. the xbox just remains as though I didn't say anything.

    is there a reason the voice recognition isn't working for this channel? it's really counter to the nature of the product to have to scrounge for the remote when the voice recognition works for most if all the other channels I use. at the very least it will
    accidentally change to wrong channel instead of doing nothing.

    any help would be appreciated.

    Kinect Sucks. Solution: Patch Existing Games

    They'ev given up on the Kinect, all the bundle deals are for the Kinectless XboxONE. Which is bull, because I would pay an extra $100 for a bundle with the Kinect. But I dont care to play games with it, I just want to use it so it can recognize my face to login, Skype, and to change channels on my cable box via voice commands.

    doe anyone have any idea what's going on? I'm assuming this would be an update or patch issue for the Kinect. if anyone from Microsoft reads these forums can this be pushed up the chain? that way at least it will be a known issue.

    My One Guide doesn't even list Root Sports Pitt. It is absurd that a major sports channel isn't listed at all. Hopefully they will fix these errors.

    Thank you for mentioning that. I can never remember ABC, CBS, FOX, Root Sports however I know all the numbers of course. Then the fact we have about 5 HBO Channels alone makes this system hard to use.
