    XboxOne Minecraft LAN multiplayer has stopped?


    we can no longer join multiple devices when playing Minecraft on our Xbox1 using our local area network (not trying to play online). We could play with multiple iPhones along with our console a few months ago. Now it says our Xbox Live privacy settings prevent
    multiplayer. I don’t know why it says XboxLive version (we never bought that version. We got the digital Xbox1version that came loaded on our Minecraft version of the Xbox1S).

    1. can we no longer play multiplayer on LAN with this version?

    2. Do we have to sign in to Xboxlive and invite other singed-in “friends”?

    “Join Multiplayer Games” Settings
    If you have your settings set to block joining multiplayer games, you can’t join any multiplayer games in Minecraft, including shared local worlds, Realms or servers. To enable multiplayer in Minecraft, make sure this setting is set to ‘Allow.’

    However, just like ASCllnaut, that setting was already turned on for my children. In other words I'm in the same boat, we can play on the LAN but not on a realm.

    We want System Link Support for Minecraft!!!

    it is really not ok for a Game like Minecraft, that it does not support System Link. It's a Multiplayer Game, this has to be have support for our Classic Lan Party opportunity.

    Similar issues here. I have posted a thread in the support section. I just verified that my ipad can connect to my xbox game. Vice Versa does not work, it seems to be a microsoft / xbox related issue.

    We are having same issues connecting Xbox to Android and Xbox to Xbox? Is this because of the beta or what??? We didn't have an issue until they started this Beta crap! I think you should be able to opt out completely! There are WAY TOO MANY GLITCHES AND
    LAG! Also mineplex Etc servers are all messed up on my end! Its very frustrating!! Wish Majong would hurry and get this update over with!!

    Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. I have split your post into its own thread in order to help you out directly. I'm not entirely sure that PC and Switch can LAN through Minecraft. All articles on Xbox.com only go over connecting Multiple Xbox
