    XboxOne has a PC Monitor but used a TV connection


    My PC monitor connected through HDMI gives a very low resolution so i tried to use a better resolution. Used TV connection but it cannot use the range. It says "INput signal is out of range" Change settings to 1680 x 1050 - 60HZ.

    T reset the console by pushing the on/off button 10 seconds but tha did not work.

    Is there a hardreset on this console? Do I have to put a TV on?

    I have to put a TV on I guess.

    32 inch TV for gaming

    i mean a socket for the connection from pc, sorry im behind with the times lol, i used to use a full had monitor and when i switched to full hd tv i saw colours that werent even present on my monitor, if u were after a 32inch tv surely u can go with a 42
    inch, just how far back can you sit away from the tv

    Xbox one, PC monitor without speakers?

    Hi, i will be using the xboxone through a pc monitor like i did with the xbox 360, but i used the AVI cabled to have the audio through my stereo, can i do the same with a xbox one?

    there are several cables that can be used to connect the console to a pc monitor, most used is probably the the vga cable. You can find it here :

    support.xbox.com/.../connect-xbox-360-console-tv

    I don't know the price and you might also need something else to connect audio, depending on the monitor (if it has speakers or not)

    Desk with 2 monitors (One curved 27" monitor and the other is a 40" 4K tv), PC (connected to both the monitor and tv), Astro a50s (PC/XB1), elgato hd60s (for the random times I do try to stream), XB1X, Switch, and PS4 (all connected to the 4K tv).

    The screen difference isn't that bad cause I'm usually playing on one and have a Twitch/Mixer stream or Netflix/Hulu/Crunchyroll up on the other.

    As a side note my monitor is 1080p 144zh and my TV is 4K 60fps.

    I've done that and now it has an error showing "Your TV connection setting does not allow 4K. To enable 4K , back up and change your TV connection to auto-detect?

    Its the Acer K1 gaming monitor specifically for pc gaming and consoles.

    What I would like to see is a "replacement" for my Media Center PC. I don't really want one in my family room anymore. I love Media Center but we really only use it for watching and recording live TV. We watch Netflix through our XBoxOne. XBoxOne provides
    a nice replacement for photo viewing especially for OneDrive photos. XBoxOne also provides a good music listening replacement.

    What I was hoping for in XBoxOne was the ability to connect to an external DCT (USB or Network) and then XBoxOne would provide the live TV and TV DVR experience (recording to the XBoxOne hard drive or an external USB drive). Given this added capability,
    I think XBoxOne would be a decent replacement for Media Center. Well, except for the lack of extender functionality.

    Yes, I have the latest update.

    The HD adapter is for the cable TV. The coax cable comes into the house, connects to the adapter, and then a HDMI cable goes from the adapter into the XboxOne. Then the HDMI cable goes from the XboxOne to the stereo receiver then finally from the receiver
    to the TV.

    This has worked just fine since I got the XboxOne last year, but over the past few months the TV has been having this black out problem.
