Xboxone error

Lastnight I turned on my xboxone and it wouldn't let me go to the toolbar on the left hand side. It kept saying something went wrong and gave me an error code. I tried looking it up but there's nothing for it.

When I tried getting into other apps or playing games, the same error screen kept coming up. I kept pressing the the A button to click on the "close" box but nothing happened. It was stuck on that screen.

Today I tried turning it back on but it won't even let me get into anything. Not even my home page. It says HELLO! and the same error screen pops up.

Has anyone experienced with this problem before and if so, how can it be fixed?

Xbox one can detect hardware failures and notify microsoft.

Turns out always online has a benefit. It can detect hardware failing, send an error code back to Microsoft and they can prepare a fix for you. Link below is from a reddit poster who got an email about his xbox not updating because of an error they found.

I had the issue with the unresponsive Guide menu during the system still being in preview test.

I could resolve it, by holding the power button on the console for about 15 seconds, and waiting until the console has been completely shut down. Having the console go into "Instant On mode"-standby will not resolve the issue. You'll have to completely shut
down the console by holding the power button for 15 seconds. If you have an older Xbox One with the external power supply, make sure the LED on the power supply turns orange.

Then start the console again.
