XboxOne Designlab Gamepad Issues with Vibration Sound and Plastic

Hey Guys. Im from Germany. (so, sorry for some bad spelling). I bought an Xbox One Controller from

Designlab. The vibration enginge has a unnormal "ringing", that other Xbox

pads dont have. And the right side, the plastic does a "knack" without

any hard pressure. The order number is: 845562465. The Gamepad is near 2 weeks old and i played around 8-10 hours with it. So i hope that the support can help me.

Xbox 360 S power brick noise

I took my power brick apart. From the looks of it, I think the sound is coming from the vibration of the fan on the plastic chassis holding it. I ran the fan outside the chassis and it is vibrates. The fan itself seems to be spinning okay but then again,
it wouldn't be vibrating if it was perfectly balanced. An anti-vibration pad in between and anti-vibration screws may be able to do the job. Don't hold me for this but that is just my theory.

Having no access with such materials, I winged it using electrical tape. I placed electrical tape where the fan frame and the plastic chassis touches. I somehow managed to reduce the noise but then again, vibration is vibration. Hopefully someone else with
access to these anti-vibration materials are able to test this to confirm or bust this theory.

Xbox One have a huge power brick as well. For the mean time I should probably skip on it and get a ps4 until it is guaranteed that this kind of problem do not occur at all.

Vibration in the triggers.

Hello, I have a XBox One gamepad on PC, I played in many games with him (GTA V, Battlefield 4, Project CARS, Fallout 4), but not in the same game no vibration in the trigger. It's normal or not? If not, is there any software to validate the vibration in
the trigger?

Hey NinjaPigeon007! If you the console is louder than the original and it sounds like plastic vibrating on plastic, that is not normal behavior. I would suggest exchanging the unit with the retailer. Post back and let me know how it goes!

I have got me finally a F710 gamepad controller and abandoned completely the power hungry XBOX Series gamepad controller. Battery life is now 100+ hours with vibration disabled.

Thanks it's only a small piece of plastic at its at the back turned the vibration off
