Xboxone Controller is so freaking loud! *Vigorous Clacking in BG*

The bumpers, sticks, face buttons and Dpad especially all suffer immensely from the loud clacking of hard plastic hitting hard plastic and the acoustics of the hollow shell making it sound way louder than it should be. Every one knows this and accepts it
for the most part I guess. I never cared about the sound really until recently. My roommates have kids, that are in school. Which is a huge wet blanket on my late night clack fests. Especially if more than one person is playing. There are threads here on the
forums regarding this that were never resolved, and have been archived since last year. Not only is Microsoft not acknowledging this issue they don't want people to talk about it(?)

Which is crazy considering that this has been an issue since the original Xbox, that has progressed into this generation of console..

Some of my most nostalgic memories involve late night 4v4 Fusion Frenzy or Tekken, and getting yelled at by people that had work in the AM attempting to sleep. (LOL)

After countless Reddit threads and YouTube videos about Quality of LifeHacks utilizing rubber bands and sink gaskets, a 3rd party company is now selling modified silenced controllers. For twice as much as the basic replacement controller from Microsoft,
its almost worth it to be able to play without "the neighbors knowing you're playing video games @ 4:35 AM" as it was (as always) so eloquently stated on Reddit. Other suggestions such as divorcing your wife and using a PS4 controller were equally amusing
but ultimately not helpful.

So my first question is, when is Microsoft gonna fix there own design flaw? So that we dont have call MacGyver or wake up everyone in the house with incessant clacking. How much would it really cost to drop some grommets under the buttons while its being
assembled?

Prob alot less than it costs to buy the controller

from a diff company that has to take it apart and reassemble it I venture. As you are paying the additional $70-80 for the work done to the controller, not the 11 rubber bands that can completely negate the issue. My last question is do I get paid for pointing
out this obvious oversight? I would gladly accept an offer to exchange my current controller for one that has been "silenced" by common sense.

We shouldnt have to modify the controller in any way, or forgo respecting people that we love in order to do something that we love to do.

Short of ignoring the warranty info in order to fix the issue ourselves...
