Hello, I recently sent a friend a referral link to go gold. After clicking through and signing up, the incentive gift card failed to be awarded. Please fix

I'm having the exact same issue. Apparently Xbox's incentive program doesn't follow through.

I am a gold member through 1 month free trial at the moment, and i am unable to do the May Xbox quest. On xboxliveoffers.com it says i am unelgibile when checking my progress, and on my xbox it just shows the challenges and terms and conditions.

Ummm never go to fake phishing sites

 

The people who do ms promotions is eprize unless you were in the sweepstakes which is official ms

But generally they wouldn't be running any promotional website themselves

 

Any website promising you free codes is usually fake

Only rewards would do something like that

And i get them occasionally with rewards but from eprize not some unknown website

They usually will copy and paste stuff and edit stuff

To make it look legit

General rule of thumb if it too good to be true don't do it because it probably already is

Ms already has a refer a friend website and its bing and Xbox rewards runner officially by eprize not Microsoft

If this is truely a phishing site then all it's asking you to do is refer friends so they can login also to grab their login info you just handed your friends accounts to them on a silver platter

Here is the first clue that it's not.an official partner

When you login into any Microsoft site you are logined every one of Microsoft's partners you just need to.link your account on partner sites

Since this site is supposed to be official microsoft it should automatically log you in which I can confirm it doesn't

Meaning it's asking you to login so they can grab all your details

Partners like eprize will ask you to sign-up and link your account but they will never represent themselves as official microsoft or Xbox

If you read eprize terms it is clearly stated

Since this is supposed to be official microsoft it should automatically login for you if you sign in on any Microsoft website

Anyone can enter Microsoft address and pretend to be the Microsoft

You just need to pay your fee

well..... I did click through the offer through Xbox live gold promotions thru the console. I had recently signed in on Hotmail and when I clicked signin it auto signed me in....the offer was again through console.

 

The offer is not thru Xbox console

Any offers on the dashboard would.go.thru your console and your billing details.

Even free trials

That should be your first clue

Even rewards.xbox.com doesn't go thru the console and should never require your login info ever

Don't.use third party websites it's nthat simple

And no that's not an official partner of Microsoft

Any free offers would never ask you for the password or login detaila

Meaning you were browsing or a compromised friend sent you the link

 

Resecure your account by changing the password immediately

 

PPhishing sites will always copy and paste info from official sites that doesn't mean they are legitimate and I've seen multiple versions of these types of sitea

 

NNever ever give your login details to any websites that aren't official microsoft or Sony

The only sites.like this is Xbox rewards and bing

And they are official partners

 

HHere is something from Xbox support

If it asks you for your.gamertag and email.and password it's not a partner or legitimate Microsoft site

If it's legit it will login you in on your email and only ask you for a password only nothing else
