xboxlive party chat

ok just got the xboxone with destiny on launch day so still getting used to the settings BUT so far its crap lol

no private chat ?

and almost daily when i use party chat with friends on destiny fifa or other games it always crashes

chat is not working just now chat error or people join but they cant hear us even if we only have 4 people on it its still crashing out daily. i just played fifa and couldnt get a party chat working on it mates cant hear me i cant hear them.

at 1st i thought its mine or my settings but same for them all not able to hear someone or crashes out its bugging now trying to play fifa and cant chat while loading on the other parts of the game sort it out. how can you have it working on 360 for 9 years
and somehow mess this up ??

i agree with your party chat 100% i remember back in the rainbow six days when every one was talking xboxlive is like a ghost town now

Please take a look at your network status on the One and especially the NAT status. If it's telling you it's strict then you need to have your network configured. The Xbox One uses some different and more ports than the 360 and also different audio codecs.

 

Also might want to check the privacy and online safety, just to make sure that some settings aren't blocked from communication

 

I have the same issues and have read many other reviews online that people are having major issues with party chat with NAT lines open, and all settings appropriate to support online chat. I don't understand how xbox seems to have taken a step backward with
the xbone with all the new technology and supposed improvements they said they made and we can't even get a stable party chat going.
