Xboxlive issue

hi I have xboxone I have used wifi ever since I started on line, in the last week or so when I play online GTA5 W2k16 the games kicks me offline says I'm not on xboxlive but when I go to home screen I am on line tested my connection I can chat to my friends.
I have wifi signel off 86%.

Any one have any idea why it happens

Well, on me old 360 the internal clock is not even working any more, so wont be a problem.

XboxOne has lot bigger issues in 2025.
Because by then XboxLive has ceased to exist.
And without XboxLive you cannot use XboxOne!!!

No, seriously: If XboxLive no longer exists, then your XboxOne cannot connect to it, and if it cannot connect, it will not run your games.
-that's how XboxOne is built, and that is the main reason I will not ever buy it.
( at least with PS4 one can play games whether PSN is on or not).

 

Log out of all profiles and then perform a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord
back in and restart the console. Once it is back up and operational log back in and test your results. Let us know. Good Luck!!

 

I have tried that (apart from unplugging cable) and it didn't help

If you still haven't, I definitely recommend trying the steps provided by Genesis1953 above to include pulling out the power cable.

Also, if possible, please try connecting your Xbox One console to your home network via ethernet cable and see if the issue persists.

Every time I try launching GTA 5 it just loads storymode and when I try joining an online session it says I dont have permission from RockStar Games, and also when I try to talk to my friends it goes to try xbox live gold and shows the memberships please
if anyone out there knows how to fix it please tell me by replying ASAP

The forums are currently reflecting Xbox Live Silver status. In order to use online matchmaking and party services, you need an active Xbox Live Gold account.

If you purchase a membership you will be able to join your friends in GTA V.
