XboxLive Gold renewal problem

My gold runs out in 2 days and I'm a bit confused about something. I bought/extended it but it still say it'll expire. I didn't get a code or anything, so I assumed it was all good, obviously it's not. Does the 12 months I bought activate when mine expires?
Also my Microsoft account purchase history shows I did in fact purchase it.

It will probably go away when your new subscription kicks in.Had this a couple of times myself & it does go away eventually.

Hi Guys,

My membership was coming up for renewal & I was getting the "Your Gold is about to expire" message on my Xboxone 'homescreen'....I successfully renewed for 12months using a prepaid card on 31st May & received a confirmation email from Microsoft

"We're sending you this message as confirmation that you have successfully renewed Prepaid 12M Xbox LIVE Gold, which will expire on Sunday, 18 June 2017. Here is a description of the service:
"

Inspite of this renewal, I still have that "Your Gold is about to expire" message displaying on my homescreen.... is there anyway I can fix this or will it fix itself in time?

Gold stacks. You can add up to 36 months of gold at a time, so you should be good to go. If you're seeing it tell you it's going to expire on the dashboard, that sometimes won't update until your new subscription actually starts. But as long as you see the
new subscription at Sign in to your Microsoft account you'll be fine.
