    Xboxgamer tag retrieval


    I unintentionally deleted xbox live info, frustrated because game would not play. Tried the xboxlive recovery process 3 times, each time I have been denied. I am not tech savvy, and did not save past passwords etc, but it is my credit card I have used
    to purchase many items especially ms points and I entered my device ID and serial number of my console. Why is it such a process to retrieve a gamer tag. In my 50s, I play one game on occasion. I am frustrated!

    Well I have been in contact with investigation and escalation XBOX support team. I have yet to retrieve my tag back, or have spoken to anyone that has had the inclination to help me.

    Question to others:

    Has anyone been hacked and able to retrieve their original Xbox gamer tag?

    ^^Its easy to kill people when sitting up in a window, but going into deadmans land to retrieve the tags IS playing the objective, eh? People (that we are talking about) just camp in buildings and dont go retrieve tags after getting the kills. Thats what
    I am talking about anyways. And yeah, tags appear in buildings when you kill someone in there, but they probably wouldnt leave the window to get those in the doorway either.

    mw3 is the dog tag thing just a game mode?

    Its a specific game mode like TDM, but the dead enemy (or friend) will drop dogtags when killed. You or the enemy can retrieve the dogtags. Retrieve your friends dropped tags to keep the "kill count"/tickets down.
