xboxapp.exe is running as a service when I checked task manager.

I faced this issue immediately after installing and first run.

I have finally fixed the problem. I kept Task manager open on top while running fh4 and when it was stuck on loading, i went to services tab in task manager and restarted all xbox services in the list one by one and closed task manager.

Then immediately fh4 screen comes back to press enter to proceed. And then it works, runs on 1080p / ultra settings.

I kept lan disabled while doing this so i guess it took over the locally saved data. Need to check online too in the same way. Hope it works..

I actually figured out how to fix it. I'll put the directions below.

1. Open the "Xbox App" on your Windows 10 device.

2. Right-click on the taskbar and select "Task Manager".

3. Click the down arrow on the bottom left where it says "More details" to expand Task Manager window.

4. Click on the 6th tab which should be labeled "Details".

5. Scroll down until you see the "XboxPcApp.exe", "XboxApp.exe", or "XboxAppServices.exe" service(s).

6. Right-click on "XboxPcApp.exe", "XboxApp.exe", or "XboxAppServices.exe" and select "Open file location".

7. You will need to do steps 8 through 12 for both the "XboxPcApp.exe" file, "XboxApp.exe" file, and "XboxAppServices.exe" file in the folder location from Step 6.

8. Right-click on the file (do this for ALL files stated in step 7) and select "Properties".

9. Click on the 2nd tab which should be labeled "Compatibility".

10. Check the box next to "Run this program as an administrator".

11. Click Apply.

12. Click Ok. (Remember to NOT go to step 13 through 15 until you have done ALL files listed in Step 7!).

13. Close the "Xbox App" on your Windows 10 device.

14. Open the "Xbox App" on your Windows 10 device.

15. Enjoy the downloads working again!

sorry to hear. Please check first if your System is uptodate (Windows Update and also via the Store APP). The XBOX Services needs the latest update to run proper!! Check also if the 4 XBOX Services are running (via the Task Manager).

Try checking if it's set to run on startup from the Task Manager. Open Task Manager, then go to the Startup tab. If you see Taptiles listed there, highlight it and click 'disable.'

Go into your task manager and check if it's still running.

Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc key together on your keyboard to open the Task Manager.

In the Processes tab, right-click on the Minecraft and choose End
task.

try running it as administrator this time around .
