Xbox360 warranty sticker

Kind of a dumb question but I have an xbox360 60 gb 2008 model and the warranty sticker was half-cut by itself when i moved the console to another location. I did not intent to open the console and i have never opened the console for any reason. Is my console
going to continue to work properly with the sticker almost torn apart or i might face problems beacuse of it?

Pretty soon Xbox One owners will be able to swap hard drives without voiding the warranty.

The FTC has found "warranty void if removed" stickers and other similar deterrents to be invalid, and has given Asus, Microsoft, Sony, etc. 30 days to change their warranty terms to reflect the change.

This means those pesky stickers on the back of your Xbox One will no longer matter, and you can swap out your hard drive or really do whatever the fuck you want to your Xbox without voiding the warranty.

I know this is the wrong lobby. But if you buy a game and buy the warranty for the game, but the sticker disappears. Does that mean the warranty is no good anymore? Or can they look it up on the computer>

The sticker itself won't cause any problems with console function. The only issued would have come if you had tried to send it in for repair. Microsoft wouldn't touch it. But since they don't repair consoles from that age anymore, it won't matter.

If you open a Xbox360 Console and remove warranty stickers, then send to Microsoft you possibly will get fined. I suggest you leave it and send to Microsoft.

If the console is one of the Xbox 360 S versions, the warranty sticker is on the back. If the sticker has been removed by your son than they will not honor the warranty because it has been void. There is nothing they will do if that sticker was removed.

Let me as you this Silver.... On the warranty for a console it says if this sticker is removed by the screws gaining access to the inside of the console, the warranty will be voided. So the OP removed the sticker, disregarding the warning about the warranty
void...

Should MS repair his console then? even if all he did was remove the warning sticker
