Discus and support Xbox360 Update failure in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I inherited an xbox360 when my friend moved and am trying to set it up.     Xbox360 Update failure


    I inherited an xbox360 when my friend moved and am trying to set it up. I get the following message:

    Can't download the update. (Test connection yada yada)

    Status code:

    43C5 - 0000 - 0080 - 0300 - 8007 - 0570

    This Xbox hasn't been updated in easily 3 years, so I'm sure that's part of the issue.

    Any suggestions??

    Pausing issues

    This happened to me quite a bit right before I had a complete failure of the GPU in my Xbox360, which I then had to get a reflow/reball.

    offline between several update cycles and the flash memory goes bad during that offline period, ANY update would cause a failure, not just a specific update.

    Your console asked for an update because the hard drive failed and it could not read the previous install of the update. It's not the update that causes the failure but rather the failure causes the need for an update.
