    Hello, The xbox I am using is a Xbox360 Slim model with a 250GB hard drive.

    I know I have to send it in for repairs but I want to know what is going on hardware wise. Below is the problems I see while playing.

    System dims and brightens Randomly as I play games or move.

    Seen shows black lines on the Dashboard, and on the orb of the 360 logo aporn start up.

    Screen flickers randomly.

    System Crashes When playing games, on the dashboard, downloading profiles, games. or at the Setting screen.

    I tried:

    Cleaning the system of error files and performed maintenance on the system. (software wise)

    Formatting the hard drive. Clearing all data.

    unplugging all wires from the system, outlets and T.v.

    standing the system up sideways and play.

    removing the hard drive and play without it.

    When I play I make sure.

    the system has the Air it needs to work.

    the power supply is green.

    All wires are firmly connected.

    Nothing is blocking the vents.

    I'm not sure what happened because my brother was moving the room around when i was out of the room, i heard a crash and he said it was something that couldn't have made the nose, then said it was something else. he's known to lie, when i left the room the
    system was on and when i came back it was covered in a lot of things but off.

    I'm sure he forced a overheat not being careful (or caring about it) or dropped it but i want to be sure.

    Please help! Xbox 360 slim freezes right after logo screen

    My Xbox 360 slim continues to freeze every time right after the logo screen, the screen glitches and turns blue and green then freezes. It won't response except the power button. What should be done? Please help!

    Are there any major freezing problems on 360?

    I've had freezes on load screens more than I'd like but fewer than enough to make me scream or throw things. I have heard that it is a function of too many saves. The occasional freeze and very rare texture glitch is all I have ever had happen.

    The key issue is not the carry weight. Its more keys you have the more memory is used and can effect loading times, textures, game freezing and standard glitches.

    I cant get mine to work either. Its brand new (even a rented one would not work) when i can get the screen to show up it will just freeze up at the first menu. I can not return to home screen when it freezes. My xbox is xbox 360 slim (no internal hard drive)

    ya the performance is not up to pace. also in Splitscreen I had a crazy graphics glitch where the top screen was showing instead of textures on the bottom screen...

    basically textures were missing and in their place I saw the top players screen mirrored on the wall.

    also the sound glitched out while all that happened... after like a minute the game lagged, faded to black and reconnected + the glitches were gone... but it still had a terrible framerate :/

    at least no inputlag like Mirrors Edge or Gears 3 had when i tested em.

    YOU CANT EVEN PLAY THE GAME.... unless you have an xbox360 HDD. It's not just for the texture pack which is an optional install. It's to even get past the PRESS START screen!

    NO, a flash drive will not work. NO, an external HDD will not work. I learned this the hard way. If you have a xbox360 4GB there is virtually no way for you to play BF4 unless you splurge on a hard drive. In which case, just get an xbox one lol
