    Xbox360 same gold membership account on multiple profiles


    Ok everyone im new to console gaming and i'm going to buy a console at the beginning of july. And it' s going to be xbox360.

    I have a question (im aware of the gold member ship cost and everything) but i would like to know if i create a new profile and want to create a new one later for something else (start all over smth like that) will i be able to play on the same account
    that has my gold membership or will i have to create a completely new one.

    Hello, answering your question the way it was asked the answer would be yes, you can play on your account that has the gold membership.

    However, what I think you mean is can you share the gold membership to other accounts. If this is the case then I would recommend getting an Xbox One instead of a 360. Not only are there many Xbox 360 games that are backwards compatible on the One (and
    they are increasing every month) but you'll be able to share the gold membership among other gamertags on the One console as well.

    So if someone can clarify, if your'e still using an XBOX 360 with multiple accounts/users on one console. Each account/user requires a gold membership subscription to play multiplayer online? Or has XBOX360 also adopted XBOXONE's 1 Gold Member for multiplayer
    to be enabled for other account/users on the same console?

    They have; it'll be replaced soon by shared Xbox Live Gold which will allow multiple accounts (on the same console, I believe) to use another profile's Gold membership for the one subscription.
