Discus and support xbox360 region code issues in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; My son has an Xbox360 bought in Australian and several games bought in Australia.     xbox360 region code issues


    My son has an Xbox360 bought in Australian and several games bought in Australia.

    Some of the games play fine but a few come up with the wrong region code error message.

    The games were all bought from stores such as Target and Eb games so are correct Australian games.

    We cannot take them back as we live in Vanuatu.

    Why cant we play Australian games on an Australian console with the region set as Australia?

    Any help please as the Microsoft support site has not helped a bit.

    I guess your 360 is Asia versione and your game sare US NTSC?

    It depends on games, some gamenes ar region free and can be played on any xbox360 despite the region, other are region locked and can be played only on the specific region of the game (example, an ntsc japan game could only be played on japanese xbox360
    ).

    The region code is valid only for DVD video playback, not games.

    What is the basis of given key region? MS profile region, xbox360 region, Store(web).

    You mention regions - what region are you physically in, and which regions are your account and console set to?
