Xbox360 Power Supply Dead - No Power Light

Anyone know where I can get a replacement power supply for my xbox360?

My Xbox was working fine before I went on vacation, but when I returned and after turning on the wall socket the PSU no longer works, no power light. Tried the fuse in the plug and followed the Microsoft troubleshooting guide which resulted in saying I need
to replace my PSU. But my unit is long out of warrantee and the Microsoft support site doesn't seem to want to support it.

If anyone has any advice please let me know.

The power supply should always have a light on it.

Orange light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is off

White light on power supply/no light on Xbox One = Xbox One is in standby (charge controllers, download updates, etc.)

White light on power supply/white light on Xbox One = Xbox One is on

3 Red Flashing Lights, Power Supply Orange

I tried the power supply on a different outlet in my room and downstairs, but I get the same 3 red flashing lights and power supply light is orange. Is this a power supply problem or is my 360 dead? I've had this 360 for 4-6 years now.

If there is no light at all, try a different power cord, the one going from the wall to the brick. If it still doesn't work, may I suggest buying a surge protector (not a power bar), for all of your electronics to prevent future damage. If it does turn out
that the brick is dead, you're out of luck. Third party bricks are most of the time cheap Chinese knockoffs, which are not tested for safety, and could be fire hazards.

No Power Guide for Xbox 360. Be sure to run through all the steps there, if none help it should direct you to set up a repair for either the power supply or console depending on the troubleshooting path you take.

As Irixion mentioned, we don't recommend third party power supplies as they aren't officially supported and my cause issues. I also wanted to mention that surge protectors are also not recommended, as the power supply has one built in and plugging into another
may cause issues.

Red, orange or unlit power supply light: Try the next solution.

Solution 2: Try a power point in a different room

Turn off your console.
Disconnect the power supply from the console and unplug the power supply from the power point.
Take your console and power supply to another room.
Plug the power supply directly into a power point. Do not use a surge protector.
Reconnect the power supply to the console.
Make sure that all three power supply connections are firmly secured.
Turn on the console.

Hi, I have an issue with my Microsoft XBOX 360.

When plugging in my power supply to the wall socket and then into the back off the xbox360 the console the light on the supply goes a steady amber colour.

Then when I press the power button the centre of the power button flashes green for a second or two and then doesn't power on.

The power pack light goes to a solid red colour.

any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

A red or amber light on a power supply is a power supply issue, a red light on a console is not a power supply issue.
